![]() ven though it's a crazy year...even though this year has brought so much turmoil to all of our lives, even though our spirits may be bruised, somehow Christmas Spirit and Santa can always make you feel happiness and joy. When I contacted Santa a few months back, I asked about this year's photo sessions and he said we'll have to social distance, but let's talk about how we can make this happen. So Santa and I got together for a little brainstorming session at the studio and we came up with a few dates. Although not everything panned out the way I had hoped, I'm very happy to have made many of my clients happy this year by offering some Santa Minis. We had one day at a tree farm and I still have one day open, November 7th, with Santa, which is just about filled up. The November 7th date is indoors at my home studio this year. It will allow for a little more social distancing ability than my photo studio, as the space is a little bit bigger and We don't have to fear running into the different businesses that are in the same building as the studio is. I wanted to get Santa nice and early in the season since life keeps changing I feel by the day and by the week, I thought the earlier in the season, the better and who knew if there would be a Santa at the mall this year, so I'm so grateful that Santa was open to these sessions and that families were open to the social distance Santa experience this year. November 7th, we will be taking temperature checks and asking questions before entering the studio space for photos. This year has been more electronic 'paperwork' than ever as well, however, we're making it happen. The sessions are lasting 20 minutes, and we're taking an extra 10 minutes after the session to clean and sanitize the space before the next family walks in. These sessions are very limited, however, I think it's great the kids & families will have a little one-on-one with the Big Guy this season. I hope you all stay healthy. Please take all precautions and don't forget to stay positive, smile often and wash your hands.
